Mrs. Motor City, Shaylett Stuckey, was crowned Mrs. Michigan America 2015
Shaylett Stuckey of Belleville, was crowned MRS. MICHIGAN AMERICA 2015 at a spectacular event held in Grandville Saturday night where she competed with women from across the state.
Shaylett holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. As a sales consultant, entrepreneur & recording artist, Shaylett has been married 21 years and has two children. Shaylett involves herself within her community both personally and professionally by working with the National Association of Professional Women, eWomen Network, MI Small Business Association, NorthRidge Church, PTO (Presidential Candidate), and University of Parenting. She is dedicated to advocating for Work At Home Mom's through support of and membership in the Direct Selling Association. “Shaylett believes it’s never too late to follow your dreams”, and is thrilled to represent the 83 counties making up our great state!
In addition to earning the title of Mrs. Michigan America 2015, Shaylett also received the Interview Award, Spirit of Pageantry Award and a prize package valued at more than $30,000, including an expense paid trip to compete for the title of Mrs. America.
Now celebrating its 38th year in its modern format, the Mrs. America Pageant focuses the attention of the nation and the world on the versatility of the contemporary American married woman. Each of the 51 Mrs. America candidates earns the right to participate in the national event by winning her statewide competition. These state pageants are under the direction of Mrs. America State Directors, a network of respected and talented community and business leaders reflecting one of the finest and prestigious pageant systems in the world.
In addition to being a role model for married women, Mrs. Michigan America is available throughout the year to add elegance, prestige, excitement and publicity to events such as business openings, conventions, church and school functions, banquets, parades, civic functions and any other type of ceremony.
